MODERN
ORGANIZATIONS ARE SATURATED WITH PROCESSES,
initiatives, projects, and ideas. What is lacking is a framework
for all these pieces that will provide a common language,
allowing different types of individuals, with different learning
styles, and different thinking styles to understand one another
and the pulse of the complex organization of which they are
a member. By creating models you create a framework that enables
organizations to understand themselves and intelligently dialog
about every aspect of the enterprise.
EACH
MODEL
speaks equally as components, categories, stages, domains,
and as an integrated whole. The models are diverse in scope
and topic but each can be applied to situations that are task,
logistical, tactical, strategic, political, cultural, and
philosophical in nature. In combination, these models are
rich enough to explain the entire business ecosystem; an ecosystem
composed of diverse human beings, inter-connected economies,
a variety of environments (office, town, country, market place,
etc.), and sophisticated technologies. Similarly, they can
be used to solve specific technical problems.

DURING
A KNOWHERE® PROCESS the
modeling language is used in two ways. During co-design sessions
the models are the foundation of a constantly evolving 100
module toolkit that in combination become the design challenges
for the event. In a design event the modeling language is
used to explicitly explain, diagram, augment, or frame a solution.
This clarity often happens real-time at points when groups
are close to, or in the process of achieving breakthrough.
With all clients the models are used to co-design events.
When clients choose to acquire Navigation Center capability,
a deeper understanding of the modeling language is fully transferred
to the client organization.
