OUR
ENVIRONMENTS FACILITATE
effective process with variety and balance with the opportunity
to move, to interact, or to be solitary. The space is reconfigured
as events evolve to support the various tasks and challenges
at hand. The visual space represented by the WorkWall®
systems permits individuals, teams, and entire organizations
to set goals, create visions, and plot and track courses for
arriving where they want to go. True knowledge workers need
versatility in their workplaces, versatility that parallels
the stages of creative working.
kNOWHERE®
COLLABORATIVE ENVIRONMENTS
are combinations of walls on wheels, fully modular furniture,
libraries, hoteling
and incubation space, in an ever-changing space
design. In addition to hosting events, knOwhere has the capability
to facilitate events at sites all over the world. Over the
years, the facilitation teams from knOwhere and their alliance
partners have transformed hotel ballrooms, NASA wind tunnels,
tennis courts, gymnasiums, and an abandoned wing of an old
hospital into fully functional, hyper-creative work environments.

THE
HALLMARK OF A KNOWHERE SPACE
is that it configures to the worker and the work being executed,
rather than forcing the worker to configure to it. Prior to
and during events the facilitation team designs a requisite
and knowledge-rich environment for the client. Physically,
this requires opening, shutting, and rolling walls; deploying
and stowing work stations; adapting light levels; adjusting
color, texture, and music. The environment, as a system, receives
careful attention to adaptability, flexibility, mobility,
beauty, and balance.

"The
environment must be requisite with the variety of
human requirements in performing learning, design,
and management tasks in the modern workplace. If the
users require a 50 foot long wall to layout a complex
process that 40 people can see and comment on in real
time, we must provide that."
